Thai Privilege Visa – Diamond Privilege Card

Overview of the Diamond Membership

The Thai Privilege Company (TPC), formerly known as Thai Elite, has undergone a rebranding process and introduced a new selection of memberships as an upgrade to the previous Thai Elite Visa.

The third membership option is the Diamond Membership, targeting retirees and foreigners who have a deep love for the Land of Smiles (Thailand) and wish to reside in the country long-term. This visa is valid for 15 years and priced at 2,500,000 Thai Baht.

Additional Considerations and Restrictions

1.

Working in Thailand

The Thai Privilege Visa, including the Diamond Privilege Card, falls under the tourist category of visas. You will not be allowed to work in Thailand. However, digital nomads or individuals working for overseas companies are permitted.

To work or earn income in Thailand, you must possess a valid work permit. Such permits are not available under the Thai Elite Visa. If you are interested in finding employment or starting a business in Thailand, it is recommended to contact your Thai Privilege agent to explore the various options for obtaining a work permit.

2.

Countries Ineligible for Thai Privilege Card Application

Not all countries are eligible to apply for the Thai Privilege Visa. Citizens of the following countries will not meet the application criteria:
– Asia: North Korea, Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka
– Africa: Central African Republic, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, and Sudan
– Middle East: Algeria, Iraq, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen
